A man who fired shots through the door of a downtown night club early this morning, has been arrested.
The shooting took place at the Independence Bar on North Orange Avenue and East Washington Street around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Orlando Police say that Todd G. Buchanan, a 29-year-old white male, was kicked out of the bar for disorderly conduct, but returned later with a hand gun. He tried to re-enter the club through the back door, but it was locked. He then fired 3 shots through the door striking two men and one woman inside the bar.
Buchanan fled the scene but police tracked him down to his house. He was arrested around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday when he was ordered to come out of his house. Buchanan came out naked, police say.
Buchanan is charged with three counts of aggravated battery, shooting into an occupied building and the commission of a felony.
