Popular radio personality and talk show host, Don Miller announced today that, he will be returning to the airwaves on ‘The Don Miller Show’ on Monday, May 6, 2013. After an 11-month hiatus, ‘The Don Miller Show’ will now air on 1520 AM WBZW and 660 AM WORL, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
‘The Don Miller Show’ will offer a unique blend of savvy, sensible, street-smart, social commentary, mixed with passionate, practical and thought-provoking dialogue on a range of issues affecting Floridians, as in the past. In addition, however, drawing on his extensive network of contacts, Don will aim to address topical issues in-depth, as these relate to politics, religion, education, business, gender and the world of sports.
“I am very thrilled to be going back on the air and to serve as a voice for the many who have so little opportunity to be heard,” said a passionate Miller. “I hope to break through the clutter of the airwaves and to inform, entertain and listen to the disparate voices of Floridians on many diverse issues.”
Miller, who has been a mainstay in the Central Florida community for close to 20 years and has cultivated an eclectic mix of friends, colleagues and associates, boasted a listening audience of thousands when he announced the Show’s ending in June last year. With his insightful, candid and at times controversial stance on key issues, he expects to grow his audience significantly, over the next 3-6 months.
About ‘The Don Miller Show’
‘The Don Miller Show’ first aired in 2003 and is owned and hosted by Don Miller. It enjoyed 9 years on the air and attracted a diverse listening audience from all across Central Florida. Known for his frank talk and sometimes colorful language, Don took a break in mid-2012 and ‘The Don Miller Show’ left the airwaves due to a format change at the station and to the disappointment of many. But not for too long. With his considerable talents, contacts and name recognition Don and ‘The Don Miller Show’ will continue to advocate for charitable causes and concerns, including seniors, the disadvantaged and those who have no voice. It is perhaps this over-riding aspect which makes him a strong ally and advocate, from board rooms to the inner city blocks.
