Cop Busted on Drug Charge by FBI


On Thursday, a Miami police officer was arrested by the FBI, accused of carrying around cocaine and marijuana he seized from a drug dealer during a bust in 2010.

31-year-old Roberto Asanza, of Miami, a six-year veteran who worked in the department’s crime suppression unit, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Asanza, a Marine Corp veteran and 1998 graduate of Coral Park High, if convicted, could face up to 20 years in prison.
