Central Florida Woman Won $1 Million Prize Playing Monopoly Scratch-Off Game

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Sarah Caceres, of Winter Haven, claimed a $1 million prize from the $5 Monopoly Secret Vault scratch-off game.




The Polk County woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $576,900.

The Central Florida winner purchased her winning ticket from Citgo Express, located at 4850 Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

She claimed her winning prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

With overall odds of 1-in-3.95, this scratch-off game offers $132 million in cash prizes, including top prizes of $1 million, and features more than 9.5 million winning tickets.
