A Central Florida woman was sentenced for distributing methamphetamine.
According to the Department of Justice, 39-year-old Jaime Pelletier, of Melbourne, was recently sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge John Antoon II to 17 years and 6 months in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.
According to the plea agreement, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office used a confidential source to conduct two controlled purchases of drugs from Pelletier at her home, totaling over 420 grams of pure methamphetamine.
A search warrant was then executed at Pelletier’s residence.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, Pelletier began flushing methamphetamine down the toilet.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of additional methamphetamine, digital scales, cutting agents, and other drug processing materials.
This Central Florida case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman. Pelletier pleaded guilty on October 16, 2025.
