A 39-year-old Central Florida suspect who was upset about a paycheck was arrested after he threatened his former employer with a firearm.
On July 22nd at approximately 10:30am, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 4400 block of Eagle Falls Place near Tampa, where a former employee who was upset about a paycheck confronted the manager, brandished a concealed gun, and threatened to kill everyone.
The suspect, 39-year-old Tito Evan-Lloyd, then fled the area. HCSO deputies responded and located the suspect at a residence on the 400 block of Royal Palm Empress Drive in Ruskin.
The Central Florida suspect was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felon Carrying Concealed Weapon, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
“It is shocking that someone would resort to such extreme measures over a $75 matter. Violence and intimidation have no place in Hillsborough County,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “The suspect’s actions were a serious threat to public safety, and our deputies did an outstanding job in bringing him into custody quickly.”
This investigation is active, according to local law enforcement.
