Central Florida Man Won $2 Million Top Prize Playing Scratch-Off Game

A Central Florida man won a $2 million top prize playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Antonio Gaspar, of Homosassa, claimed a $2 million top prize from the Scorching Hot 7s scratch-off game.

The Citrus County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,172,000.

The Central Florida man purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 765 S. Broad Street in Brooksville in Hernando County.

He claimed his winning prize at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

For $10, the Scorching Hot 7s scratch-off game offers four top prizes of $2 million. With over 118 million cash prizes, including more than 4.6 million winning tickets, you are in for a hotter-than-ever fun experience. There are two top prizes remaining according to the Florida Lottery.

Overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.39.




Scratch-off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024.
