Central Florida Business Pro Launches Her American Dream

University of Florida alum Youshan Zhao launched her American Dream when she opened Brightway, The Zhao Agency insurance office in Central Florida this month.

With more than 20 years in the world of finance and business operations, Zhao made the decision to open her own Brightway Insurance franchise in Orlando on West Colonial Drive.




“This is of critical importance, especially to my largely international client base focused within the Chinese investment community,” Zhao said. “Through my tax practice, I noticed my clients had a keen interest in insurance and they appreciated the professional standards I provided in tax matters.”

Hailing from Beijing, China, Zhao additionally has formal training as a financial auditor which has provided her with extensive skill sets in financial reporting and tax preparation. Moving to the United States in 2007 to pursue her graduate studies, she achieved a master’s degree in economics and statistics from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2009.

Youshan is currently writing a book on working in the insurance world. Brightway, The Zhao Agency offers customized Home, Flood, Auto, Boat, Condo, Renters, Personal Articles, RV, Motorcycle, Umbrella, and Life insurance policies from numerous insurance companies.
