Five prominent African-American elected officials in Central Florida will come together today to endorse Bill Segal in his campaign to become the next Orange County Mayor.
At a press conference at noon today, State Senator Gary Siplin, State Representative Geraldine Thompson, Eatonville Mayor Bruce Mount, Orlando City Commissioners Samuel Ings and Daisy Lynum will explain their decision at to why they plan on supporting Bill Segal. The officials are expected to discuss why they believe Segal is the candidate most able to bring new jobs to Orange County and create safer neighborhoods.
The press conference is being held today at the Pretty Women Consignment Shop, 6616 Old Winter Garden Road at 12:00 noon.
