On Thursday, September 11, District 6 Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell will join others for a press conference at the Tangelo Park Y.M.C.A., to unveil a public-private partnership to address crime and public safety in Orange County.
Commissioner Russell claims that there is a need to implement new leadership strategies to revitalize older, Arican American neighborhoods and protect the residents from criminal activity.
“This process must cut across all sectors and all stakeholders should be represented to include existing residents, potential new residents, local businesses, and government alike”, saysRussell.
According to the Commissioner, the foundation for the success of the is developing partnerships among all stakeholders surrounding the community.
