Three suspects who robbed a bank at gunpoint, after a failed robbery of another branch on Saturday morning, are now in custody, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies say.
Deputies say, a suspect entered the Bank of America at 5381 West Colonial Drive around 11:00 a.m., passed one of the tellers a note and implied he had a gun. The suspect then fled in a green vehicle, with other occupants.
Deputies believe the suspects then headed to Bank of America located at 7105 Silver Star Road and again, one of the suspects, passed a note to a teller, while implying he had a gun. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At North Lane Road, west of Pine Hills Road, a felony stop was conducted on a green vehicle matching the description of the get away car.
Deputies say, three suspects are now in custody and armed robbery charges are pending.
No one was injured during the armed robbery or attempted robbery.
