Amtrak Launches Flash Sale Fares on Auto Train

Amtrak is having a fare sale on Auto Train, which allows customers to travel with their vehicle from Florida to the Northeast while saving time and money. Through August 18th, Auto Train one-way fares are as low as $39, plus the cost of your vehicle.

Customers traveling in Coach enjoy wide, reclining seats with plenty of legroom, no middle seats and a big picture window to enjoy the view. Prior to arrival, a complimentary continental breakfast is served. Plus, all Auto Train Coach interiors have now been refreshed with new seating cushions and upholstery, carpeting and window curtains.

For extra comfort and privacy, customers can book a First Class private room—offering priority boarding, complimentary meals onboard, a dedicated First Class attendant and newly upgraded bedding, pillows, towels and linens. Accommodation options include a Roomette—featuring two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night—or a Bedroom offering twice the space of a Roomette as well as an in-room sink, restroom and shower.

One-way fares are available as low as:

Limited Time Fares* One traveler Two travelers^
Coach $39 $78
Roomette $239 $339
Bedroom $439 $539
*Plus the cost of your vehicle
^Double occupancy required for Roomettes and Bedrooms.

The Amtrak Auto Train offer is valid for sale until August 18th for northbound travel only (Sanford, Florida, to Lorton, Virginia). Travel dates are August 21 – December 20, 2023. Blackout dates are November 10–11, November 17–19 and November 24–25.

The Amtrak Auto Train offers daily, non-stop service between Lorton, VA, (near Washington, D.C.) and Sanford, FL (near Orlando). Customers can travel with several types of vehicles, including cars, vans, SUVs and motorcycles. This is the only such service in the U.S. and eliminates nearly 900 miles of driving between the Northeast and Florida.
