After several recent shake-ups, scandals and horrible allegations about the management, a new Orlando City Clerk organizational chart has been leaked.
Orlando City Clerk Stephanie Herdocia has pushed out several employees recently as she attempts to get control of her office. Mayor Buddy Dyer recently appointed her friend and ally Danielle Abdul-Nabi as the new Deputy City Clerk. In the new org charts, it appears Abdul-Nabi appears in quite a few slots, as the City Clerk’s office has lost its clerk aides.
The Orlando City Clerk acts as the official record-keeper, manages City Council agendas, minutes, and ordinances and manages public records. The Clerk also oversees municipal elections and other tasks in addition to handling public records requests. Greenwood Cemetery is also under the City Clerk’s jurisdiction. It is a front-facing office that directly deals with the public.

Based on the new Orlando City Clerk org chart, Danielle Abdul-Nabi reports to Stephanie Herdocia, and Abdul-Nabi is in charge of Casey Billings and clerk staff, Janna Baumann and Michael Taylor and records staff, and the Greenwood Cemetery staff. These are the people the community can contact or hold accountable for these various parts of the city government.
