Police are searching for a man who snatched a woman’s wallet knocking her to the ground, shortly after she left at ATM, Kissimmee police said.

The victim had gone into the RaceTrac at 1470 E. Osceola Parkway around 2:15 a.m., on March 29, to inquire about the location of the nearest ATM, when shortly after a male suspect (see video stills right) entered the store and asked the woman for money.

Investigators say, the 54-year-old woman left the store and proceeded to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash.  That’s when the man pounced on the woman, grabbed her wallet, knocking her to the ground.

The man fled in a silver vehicle east on Osceola Parkway, then south on the Turnpike.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing brown lace up boots, black cargo shorts, gray zip up hooded sweatshirt and multicolored hat.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at 407-846-3333, by e-mail at [email protected] or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS(8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
