Police are searching for a man, armed with a handgun, who robbed an apartment in Winter Park and raped a girl on Saturday.
Investigators say, the suspect broke into an apartment at the Stone Castle Apartments on New Stonecastle Terrace around 7:30 a.m. Â The man raped a minor before fleeing the scene.
Police described the suspect as around 19-20 years old, 5’08” to 5’09” tall, about 165-200 pounds, with stocky build.
The suspect has a stud piercing under his lower lip and wore a black t-shirt, blue jean shorts and a baseball style hat, police say. Â It is believed he has short hair or a shaved head.
The man was armed with a handgun, police also said.
