A second man was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 17-year-old, after a family fight turned deadly last week, at a home in the Azaela Park area.
Orlando police say, 48-year-old Gabriel Perez was taken into custody Thursday, in connection with fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Marcus Isaias on February 22nd. Perez has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to second degree murder with a weapon and attempted destruction of evidence.
Police had earlier charged 26-year-old Michaell Charles Chang with second degree murder for fatally stabbing Isaias, his half-brother, with a knife after the two argued.
Perez, believed to be the uncle of the Isaias twins, was booked into the Orange County Jail around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday.
According to investigators, Marcus’ twin brother, Xavier Isaias, got into an argument with Perez over keeping their dogs in the home and having to clean up feces and urine. That’s when Marcus, the deceased, armed himself with a baseball bat and Chang, the accused, armed himself with a knife.
Police were able to determine that Chang fatally stabbed Marcus in the chest.
Perez is being held without bond.
