Billionaire David Siegel, owner of Westgate Resorts, who warned his 7,000 employees that they could lose their jobs if President Obama was re-elected, apparently has reversed himself.
According to news reports, Siegel sent an e-mail Wednesday to employees indicating that he never intended to layoff workers if Obama won. Siegel claimed that his e-mail prior to the presidential election, was taken out of context.
Siegel’s latest e-mail said, he meant if the administration continued to increase the cost of doing business, he would scale back “the size and growth of the company,” clickorlando.com reported.
