An early morning exchange of gunfire on Lee Road has left one victim with life-threatening injuries and a second person with non-life threatening injuries, Orange County deputies said.
The shooting occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, near the corner of Godard and Lee Road. But investigators believe the incident began at a different location where an argument escalated between two groups.
Deputies also believe the men were driving down Lee Road, possible firing as the vehicles moved along. One of the vehicle crashed into a pole and then into the front of a Fifth Third Bank, after the driver was hit.
One man, found at the scene with life-threatening injuries, was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
A second victim went to the hospital on his own, with non-life threatening injuries, deputies said.
Deputies also said, the Fifth Third Bank and neighboring businesses were hit by gunfire.
The shooting caused Lee Road to be shut down for several hours, as investigators worked the crime scene.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
