Daytona police arrested nine people in an undercover prostitution sting over the week-end.
One woman was arrested when she offered to perform a sex act and after telling the undercover police officer he is cute.
46-year-old Matilda Brewer hopped into the detective’s unmarked vehicle along US 1 and Taylor Avenue, telling the undercover police officer he is cure and offering to perform a sex act. Brewer was charged with solicitation to commit prostitution and commit a lewd act.
The prostitution operation is part of the continuing efforts “to increase the quality of life and make  neighborhoods safe,” a statement from the Daytona Police Department said.

- Jennifer McRae, 33 years, W/F, of North Street. Daytona Beach – Solicitation to Commit Prostitution and Battery.
- Leona Kight, 34, W/F, of S. Atlantic Ave. – Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.
- Meggan Cross, 32, W/F, San Jose- Holly Hill- Solicitation to Commit Prostitution and Poss. Cannabis U/20.
- Jessica Greenfield, 24, W/F, Deltona – Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.
- Donna Blankenship, 44, W/F, S. Beach Street, Daytona Beach – Solicitation to Commit Prostitution and Battery.
- Tina Barber, 39, W/F, N. Ridgewood S.- Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.
- Matilda Brewer, 46, W/F, Cannon Street – Solicitation to Commit Prostitution and Solicitation to Commit Lewd Act.
