Darden Restaurants, headquarted in Orlando, plans to develop and operate Darden’s Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse brands in Puerto Rico, a statement from the company said.
Darden recently entered into an area development agreement with Restaurant Operators, Inc.(ROI), that already operates five LongHorn units in Puerto Rico.
Under the new agreement, ROI will initially develop at least three additional LongHorn and eight Olive Garden restaurants over the next five years.
Darden Restaurants, the world’s largest full-service restaurant company, owns and operates more than 1,900 restaurants, including bands like Red Lobster, Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52 and Eddie V’s.
