Pine Hills Performing Arts Center Has Big News, Announces April Events

Greetings from the Pine Hills Community Performing Arts Center!

As we usher in this spring season of renewal, we are delighted to keep you informed of the good works in which the Pine Hills Community Performing Arts Center is involved as well as share with you this update of activities and events we have planned for the immediate future and beyond.

Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers

The Center is currently in the process of gearing up for an exciting summer schedule that includes a summer camp of adventure, learning and fun for middle school children. The camp, which begins on Monday, June 11, will offer group instruction and activities in music, drama, and academics. Working in collaboration with Dramatic Learning—an educational arts organization that specializes in after-school, Saturday, and summer drama enrichment programming—our summer camp program will culminate with an entertaining and enjoyable performance presented by the campers on Friday, August 3.

Music Instruction

Through the generosity of the Steinway Piano Gallery, the Center recently received a piano donation—a gracious and charitable display of model corporate citizenship. Because of this donation, we are excited about starting our music program that will offer lessons in piano, strings and voice led by Christopher Sims, our newly appointed music director.
African Drumming and Dance

Lessons in African drumming and dance are slated to begin in May.
