Frontier Airlines announced today it will be commencing non-stop service to Orlando from Allentown and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The announcement comes against the backdrop of Frontier Airlines’ expansion of service at Orlando International Airport over the past 18 months.
The new non-stop service to Orlando from Allentown and Harrisburg, fills a need to this Neartheast region, the Airline said.
Frontier initially operated only one route to Denver from MCO. The Airline now provides service to Milwaukee and Omaha, as well.
Phil Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, said Frontier Airlines’ decision to expand its non-stop flight offerings to desirable destinations like Allentown and Harrisburg, is welcomed, as service to these locations gives “passengers convenient access to a popular region.”
Frontier Airlines will launch the service with introductory fares beginning March 14, and will serve the new routs with 138-seat Airbus A319’s.
