Former Congressman and current congressional candidate Alan Grayson (D-Orlando) announced today that he has accepted an invitation to speak at the Occupy Orlando rally on Saturday, October 15th.
Grayson struck a chord with his vocal support of the people who recognize and want to solve the Nation’s problems.
“These people are fed up. They are doing the one thing that you can still do as a human being. You can show yourself, and show your support. That’s what these Occupy people are doing. They’re going somewhere and finding others who want the same thing,” said Grayson, who also spoke about this on MSNBC this week.
The Occupy Orlando rally will take place at Senator Beth Johnson Park, which surrounds the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. The address is 75 South Ivanhoe Boulevard in Orlando. People are expected to start showing up at 8 a.m., with a march scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
Grayson is seeking to represent the new district encompassing Orlando.
