Orlando Police Department Makes Arrest in Lewd and Lascivious Case

The Orlando Police Department made an arrest in a lewd and lascivious case after a man exposed himself to a young Orlando student who was walking to school.




The female student was walking in the 200 block of North Eola Avenue when a suspect in a blue sedan approached her. The suspect was unclothed and exposing himself while in the vehicle. The student was able to walk away.

Detectives with the Orlando Police Department’s Special Victims Unit were able to identify the suspect in this investigation as 34-year-old Gilmer Mauricio Medina.

The Orlando Police Department’s Fugitive Investigative Unit located and apprehended Medina. OPD Special Victims Unit has charged Medina with Lewd and Lascivious Behavior-Exhibition and Exposure Of Sexual Organs 1st Offense.

OPD investigators confirmed there is only one suspect involved in this case.
