Deputies are hunting for a man who stole the lottery winnings of a woman on Pine Hills Road on Tuesday night.
The woman entered the Quick Stop at 2908 N. Pine Hills Road around 9:00 p.m., to cash her scratch off lottery ticket. Shortly after, investigators say, the suspect entered the store and purchased some items in cash.
The suspect exited the store and approached the woman who was sitting in her vehicle, asking for a cigarette. Â That’s when the suspect suddenly leaned into the woman’s vehicle from the driver’s window and snatched her purse and took the cash, investigators said. Â Â The victim’s lottery winnings were about $80.
The suspect was seen running north on Pine Hills Road toward North Lane.
The suspect is described as a medium to dark skin male, approximately 35-40 years of age and weighing about 165 pounds. The suspect has a large afro and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
