A trail of blood left by a burglar at a home in Osceola County on Tuesday, led deputies to arrest a man in the Bellalago subdivision.
Carlus Lamar Parker, 37, of Valley View Drive in Kissimmee was arrested and charged with unoccupied burglary, battery on a law enforcement and resisting without violence.
Investigators went to Valley View Drive and Northwood in the Bellalago subdivision where they located a man, later identified as Parker, bleeding and disoriented walking in the street. Parker told investigators he lived in the area, but was unable to provide an address. Deputies questioned Parker, who attempted to flee the area. At one point, Parker pushed a deputy. He was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center as he appear to have taken drugs, deputies said.
Upon canvassing the neighborhood, deputies located a residence on Weatherfield Drive that had been burglarized. They found a blood trail from the home to the area where Parker was found.
Parker was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
