Orlando Police arrested on Tuesday, a second suspect involved in the shooting death of a man in the 7-11 parking lot at LB McCleod Road on August 16. Dematyjora Scott, who is charged with first degree murder, was taken into was taken into custody by the Orlando Police Department Fugitive Unit without incident.
According to OPD, Connie E. Walker, 19 years, was shot in the parking lot of the 7-11 at 5698 LB McCleod Road, in the early morning hours on August 16. He was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Three days later, on August 19, homicide detectives arrested Demetrius Greene, 19, years for his involvement with Walker’s murder. Greene was charged with first degree murder with a firearm and is in the Orange County Jail.
Today, the second man involved in the shooting death, Dematyjora R. Scott, 18 years, was arrested and charged with first degree murder in Walker’s death. Scott was taken into custody by the OPD Fugitive Unit without incident around 7:30 pm. He was transported to the Orange County Jail where he remains without bail.
