Carl-Henric Svanberg, Chairman of BP, speaking to the press following the meeting with President Obama on Wednesday, in which the oil giant agreed to set up a $20 billion fund to pay claims to those suffering losses from the oil spill, let it be known that his company cares about the “small people”.
“I hear comments that large companies are greedy companies who don’t care, but that is not the case in BP. We care about the small people,” Svanberg said.
