The Florida Education Association (FEA), the state’s largest teachers union, on Saturday recommended both Democratic attorneys general candidates Dave Aronberg and Dave Gelber, to its members.
“We have worked closely with both Senators Gelber and Aronberg in Tallahassee over the years,” said Florida Education Association President Andy Ford. “Both are bright and passionate leaders who work tirelessly to improve the lives of all Floridians. Either would be an excellent choice as our next attorney general.”
The FEA earlier endorsed Democrats Alex Sink for governor, Loranne Ausley for chief financial officer and Scott Maddox for agriculture commissioner.
Earlier Saturday, the FEA also made a co-endorsement in the U.S. Senate race, telling its membership that either Democrat Kendrick Meek or Indpendent Charlie Crist would be a good choice.
