Sarasota County Man Wins $2 Million Prize Playing Scratch-Off Game

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Stephen Nagy, of Venice, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X The Cash scratch-off game.




The Sarasota County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.

Nagy purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 4173 South Tamiami Trail in Venice. The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

He claimed the winning prize at the Lottery’s Ft. Myers District Office.
