Former President Donald J. Trump will deliver remarks at a rally in Doral, Florida on Tuesday, July 9th.
Republican President Trump will underscore how Democratic President Joe Biden’s “failed presidency is having catastrophic consequences on Floridians, and Americans alike.”
The Trump campaign said Florida families are being smothered by high inflation on everyday goods, with prices up across the state by 21.4 percent since Biden took office. They added the Democrat’s “lies about the state of our economy have been costly for Floridian households, who have lost $28,812 on average each year.”
Republicans say that since the inception of Joe Biden’s presidency, the median price to purchase a home in Florida has jumped 44.7 percent, depriving Sunshine State families of the American Dream of home ownership.
Additionally, the Republican campaign said Joe Biden’s weak immigration policies have turned Florida into a border state, leaving Floridians susceptible to the deadly consequences of Biden’s border crisis. In March 2024, three illegal aliens were arrested for allegedly abducting and sexually battering a woman in Palm Beach County. In April 2024, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala brutally stabbed to death his girlfriend and her four-year-old daughter at their home in Florida.
The Republican campaign said Florida is a place near and dear to President Trump’s heart as his home state. “President Trump loves Florida, and its people. Four more years of President Trump will rescue Floridians from drowning in the Biden economy, revive the American dream, secure America’s borders, stop the flow of deadly fentanyl, restore law and order in our communities, and Make America Great Again,” the campaign stated.
