Orange County Town Hall Meetings to Review Land Development Regulations

In preparation for updating land development regulations, Orange County will host multiple Town Hall meetings to share information and answer questions about Orange Code.




The new Orange Code will go before the Orange County Board of County Commissioners in the Fall for adoption. According to county officials, it will be used to implement Vision 2050, which serves as a guide for the County’s growth over the next 25 years.

The public is invited to attend any of the following meetings:

Orange Code is Orange County’s Zoning Code currently found in Chapter 38 of the Code of Ordinances. Orange Code regulates growth and development through form-based standards such as building heights and setbacks, buffering standards between uses, civic and open spaces, parking requirements, and more.
