A man was found shot and bleeding in the street, after an argument broke out and he was apparently thrown out by the other passengers in the car.
Just before 6:00 pm tonight February 16, 2010 the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) Communications Center received a number of calls in reference a man bleeding in the street on North Chickasaw Trail. Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Orange County Fire rescue arrived and transported the injured victim to the hospital. Based on their investigation, detectives discovered that three or four men were in a late model 4 door white Mercedes sedan on Chickasaw near Colonial Drive, when an argument broke out, escalating to the point where one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and shot the victim multiple times. The victim was thrown out of the vehicle or somehow managed to exit on his own. It was then that witnesses saw the victim in the street.
Detectives have not released the name of the victim who is critical condition.
OCSO deputies are continuing with their investigation.
