Cocaine Seized in Major Central Florida Drug Trafficking Bust

Two men have been arrested and a large amount of cocaine was seized in a major Central Florida drug trafficking bust.

Over the past several months, detectives secured 2.25 lbs. of cocaine valued at more than $110,000. During the investigation, 32-year-old Tishunz Logan was identified as one of the key members transporting large amounts of cocaine into Hillsborough County from Pasco County.

Logan was arrested after attempting to flee on foot from deputies. 30-year-old Dondre Alexander Daley was also with Logan and arrested.

Tishunz Logan’s charges include: Trafficking in Cocaine 400 Grams to 150 Kilograms; Trafficking in Cocaine 200 Grams to 400 Grams; Trafficking in Cocaine 28 Grams to 200 Grams; Unlawful use of a Two-Way Communication Device x3; and Resisting Officer without Violence.

Dondre Alexander Daley’s charges include Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine 400 Grams to 150 Grams.

“The collaboration between our detectives and our deputies on the street once again demonstrates the power of teamwork here at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Together, they successfully caught a known criminal who was swiftly brought to justice despite attempting to continue his life of crime in the new year.”

Following Logan’s arrest, detectives gained information that he instructed a known female to remove hidden items from a residence in New Port Richey. Based on this information, detectives contacted the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, and their narcotics detectives obtained a residential search warrant.

The following items were discovered in the residence: $32,000 cash; Bulk ammunition; Firearm magazines; and approximately one ounce of cocaine.

This investigation is ongoing, according to local law enforcement.
