Lighthouse Works award FloridaLighthouse Works, an Orlando organization that provides competitive job opportunities for individuals who are blind and visually impaired, recently received an employer appreciation award from the Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and the Division of Blind Services.

The recognition comes amid a milestone year of providing life changing career opportunities for Floridians who are visually impaired. RESPECT of Florida presented Lighthouse with a plaque at the annual awards luncheon, which was held in Clearwater Beach on September 21st. The Employment Center of the Year in the Services category award is given to a center that consistently provides excellent service to procuring agencies and demonstrates effective responsiveness.
