A grandfather in Bell, Gilchrist County, Florida, killed his daughter and her six children, before turning the gun on himself, Thursday.
USA Today reports that Don Charles Spirit, 51, called 911 and said he is considering harming himself and others.
Law enforcement officials, arrived at Spirit’s home around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, where they found his six grandchildren, ranging in ages from 3 months to 10 years dead, along with his daughter.
Authorities believes that the killings were a murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
