Walmart, for the second year, gathered hundreds of kids, the real toy experts, to help the mega-retailer determine what to stock up on for the holiday season.
Ranging in ages from 18 months to 12 years, toddlers and kids were turned loose on the hottest new toys from suppliers like Hasbro, Mattel, Spin Master and Zing. According to Walmart, the kids’ tastes in toys are changing, although their appetites for imagination and creativity remain the same as last year.
Walmart, in announcing its top 20 toy list said, kids are looking for toys that serve as an artistic outlet and classics are also popular again this year.
Among the popular toy picks are: Spin Master Flutterbye Light Up Fairy, Spin Master Sew Cool Sewing Machine, Mattel Barbie Glam Camper, Disney Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin and Zing Airstorm Firetech Bow.
