A Lakeland man who told investigators he was curious about bestiality, was arrested on Friday, charged with four counts of child pornography, Polk County deputies said.
Cline Charles Englund, 44, of the 300 block of Palmola Street in Lakeland, was taken into custody without incident, and booked into the Polk County Jail.
Working on a tip, undercover detectives learned Englund was in possession of child pornography in July 2014, and began an investigation. A search warrant was obtained and detectives made contact with Englund at his Lakeland residence.
Located in Englund’s bedroom was a desktop computer – a forensic preview of the computer revealed four videos of pre-pubescent children involved in sexual conduct. The videos were graphic and depicted children engaged in sex with other children, adult males, and a dog.
Englund admitted to downloading images of child pornography, which he said he would later delete. Englund stated the youngest child he has ever seen involved in child pornography is approximately five years of age.
He told detectives he was curious about bestiality and had viewed videos containing bestiality but “doesn’t recall” ever viewing any videos involving children.
Englund was booked in the Polk County Jail without incident, he has since bonded out.
