The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will team up with 104.1 and Crimeline to take part in the 2014 Kicks 4 Guns event on Thursday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The primary purpose of “Kicks for Guns” is to get guns out of the hands of young kids. Citizens can exchange an unloaded firearm for a $50.00 gift card.
This year there are 4 drop-off locations:
- VFW, 519 South Central Avenue, Apopka
- Carl Black Chevy, 11500 East Colonial Drive, Orlando
- Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 West Colonial Drive, Orlando
- Taft Community Center, 9450 South Orange Avenue, Orlando
