Jailed Ocala Woman Forced to Remove Weave For Mug Shot

Kaylin Ranson, an Ocala woman is behind bars again in the Lake County Jail, this time without her fashionable weave.

Ranson, a 22-year-old hairdresser, who is behind bars for a lot longer than a weekend this time around, was forced to remove her stylish hair weave to take her booking photo, after resisting for more than seven hours.

Arrested initially for aggravated battery and child abuse, Ranson, said that she was humiliated when officers at the Lake County Jail insisted that she remove her weave, after being re-arrested on December 3rd.
