Police have released the name of the man who opened fire on officers on Cinderlane Parkway on Tuesday night.
22-year-old Sadiki Allwood, a convicted felon, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Allwood began shooting at officers when they turned up at the 5200-5500 block of Cinderland Parkway off N. Lake Orlando Parkway, to investigate drug complaints in the area. An officer returned fire and Allwood was stuck in the shoulder.
28-year-old Makabee Seow, who fled after officers made contact with him, was apprehended later in a nearby apartment. He has been charged with resisting an officer with violence, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Allwood and Seow have been booked into the Orange County Jail.
The name of the Orlando Police Department officer who returned gunfire, has not been released.
