Police are searching for a brazen armed robber who pointed a gun and demanded cash from a clerk at a convenience store.
The armed robbery occurred at a BP gas station located at 2010 North Wheeler Street in Plant City, just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspect waiting until other patrons had left the store, approached the counter with an 18-pack of Busch beer and brandished a handgun. Â The man pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded that she hand over all the money in the register.
Police say, the clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30’s, 5’05 – 5’07 tall, slim to medium build, short dark hair with a mustache. Â He was wearing a green shirt with blue jeans overalls and a white cowboy hat.
