Mayor Dyer and the Orlando City Council will hear a presentation entitled FY 2010/2011 Budget Update presented by City of Orlando Chief Financial Officer Rebecca Sutton, City of Orlando Deputy Chief Financial Officer Ray Elwell, City of Orlando Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Kevin Edmonds and City of Orlando Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Deborah Girard.

Mayor Dyer and the Orlando City Council will also hear a presentation entitled Venues, Transportation and Parking Updates presented by City of Orlando Transportation Engineering Manager Charles Ramdatt, City of Orlando Transportation Policy Advisor Christine Kefauver and City of Orlando Venues Director Allen Johnson.

OUC Green Neighborhood Program Kick-off Meeting

Mayor Dyer will join City of Orlando District 2 Commissioner Tony Ortiz and OUC to kick off the Green Neighborhood program in the Monterrey neighborhood. The Green Neighborhood Program will offer free energy efficient upgrades for homeowners in City of Orlando neighborhoods with higher than average energy consumptions.

Mayor Dyer will give an update on the Community Venues and Downtown Orlando at City of Orlando District 6 Commissioner Samuel Ings’ town hall meeting. Mayor Dyer will be joined by Orlando Magic Chief Operating Officer Alex Martins, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Executive Director Kathy Ramsberger, Orlando Venues Director Allen Johnson and Downtown Development Board Executive Director Thomas Chatmon.

Mayor Dyer will attend the Florida Bar Association’s annual convention where Orlando City Attorney Mayanne Downs will be sworn in as the President Elect of the Florida Bar Association. Downs will become the organization’s fourth woman president since its founding in 1950 and is the first City Attorney to ever hold the position.
