A Wells Fargo bank in Ohio offered a homeowner who had fallen behind in his mortgage payments, a modification of $2 on his mortgage.
Mike Elewski from Independence, Ohio said he “literally blew up” when Wells Fargo offered to reduce his mortgage by $2 during a mediation meeting on Friday, reports newsnet5.com.
Elewski, who owns a family engineering and surveying business, said the whole process has “been a mess.”
The bank admitted the $2 modification offer was a mistake.
