Walter Spelzhausen, known as the resident Postmaster in Goldenrod, passed away over the weekend, the Goldenrod Chamber and the Goldenrod Historical Society announced Monday.
Walter, who served his community for over 25 years, along with his family, owned and operated the Spelzhausen Market in Goldenrod.
Walter and his wife, Virginia, visited the Museum recently and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 15th at 3:00 p.m.
