WHAT: Here’s a new meaning to what students refer to as “picture day.” More than 500 students will pose for two pictures at Stonewall Jackson Middle School. The students will take their annual school photo and immediately following get another picture of just their eyes. It’s a vision screening/picture day combination event to determine which students need glasses. The screenings will be conducted with new technology donated for the day by Pediavision. The event is part of the Orange County Public Schools “See You in School” campaign that promotes the importance of vision screening.
