Most of the time, the lifeguard saves beachgoers from sharks. But in a surprising twist on Sunday, the lifeguard helped the shark instead, after it had mistakenly found its way too close to shore.
Some beachgoers had a different danger to deal with, besides strong rip currents, when they hit the Brevard County shore Sunday.
A shark was thrashing around in the shallow water in Cocoa Beach, WFTV.com reports.
