A man robbed a pharmacy on Monday afternoon, after he first failed to rob a bank, Orlando police said.

The man first entered the Bank of America located at 2893 S. Orange Avenue around 12:45 p.m., passed a note to one of the cashiers and demanded money.  The suspect implied that he was in possession of a firearm, detectives said.  The cashier notified law enforcement and did not hand over any cash.

Police say, about five minutes late, the same man entered the CVS pharmacy at 2702 S. Orange Avenue and displayed a firearm.  He demanded money from the front cashier who complied.  The man fled the pharmacy in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information on this suspect or knows the suspect should call Crimeline at # 1-800-423-TIPS.
