For the first month in a long time, guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort can once again enjoy the Volcano Bay water park every day of the week. Universal was keeping their on-site water park closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, presumably in part as a cost-saving measure.
The park hours are still mainly one-shift until weekends at the end of March, where Volcano Bay will stay open until 8pm on some nights. Universal has yet to truly capitalize on the giant volcano being lit up at night, as some executives hinted to prior to the original opening.
But the good news is that Universal Orlando guests no longer have to worry one of the three parks they purchased tickets to visit will be closed two days a week. After all, major Florida tourist destinations aren’t supposed to be partially closed.
Universal can once again boast it is an actual three park destination in Orlando.
