A $3.95 million donation can buy a lot of things, including, apparently, the name of the UCF Sports Arena, which will be changed to the CFE Federal Credit Union Arena, after the credit union that will also now have a branch on campus.
What’s more, that gift — as well as significant gifts from an as-yet unnamed Universal Orlando executive — have brought the capital campaign over the $100 million mark. Robert Holmes, UCF Foundation CEO, told trustees they hope the gifts will spur more donations from the theme parks, the Orlando Business Journal reports.
